First to the market with this NFT Gold Foil skateboard for the blockchain game.  Skatex nailed it in the NFT world making a extreme sports video game for the skateboard community.  Making this deck for our buddy over at Skatex was a blast.  The phone rang and I picked it up with an unusual request.  We were asked to make a deck that we have never perfected.  That is right GOLD FOIL has been a struggle for us and with this one board we tried over and over.  I was not going to let this order go down without a fight.  

Gold Foil Challenge

For years people have been asking for gold foil.  We did some in the past but never really perfected it and now was the time.  Skatex was on the hook so the time was ticking with only a week to get it right.  Trial and error with some mixed results for many attempts.  I am not the one to give up,  so I kept at it.  Lucky for me I had a bunch of gold foil in my shop from previous request.  Yes!  We had foil on the deck but there were some imperfections that did not meet our high standards.  Lying awake at night unable to sleep I ran many different scenarios through my head.  Each day testing a new idea to avoid the small imperfections.  Then the day before SkateX needed the board I had a solution.  Make my own Gold Foil transfer and did it work.  The print came out so amazing I had to take photos to share.
